1 Maroua Grey scale with coloured detail

In this work, I have created a selective color effect in GIMP using two layers. First, I copied the original image. Then, I changed the top layer to black and white with the Desaturate tool. After that, I added a layer mask and painted with black on the parts I wanted to keep in color. Finally, I added some text using the same color as the highlighted object and put my name quietly in one corner.

2 Maroua Dublin

In this project, I have improved a landscape photo using GIMP. First, I fixed the tilt and perspective to make the vertical lines straight. Then, I cropped the image to a 15:10 ratio and removed unwanted objects with the clone tool. Finally, I adjusted the resolution, added my name in a discreet corner, and exported the final image as a JPG file.

3 Maroua Postage stamp

In this project, I have created a stamp design using GIMP. First, I made the base shape and created the border by erasing small circles around the edges. Then, I added and arranged the different elements, such as the image, text, and numbers, to complete the design. Finally, I adjusted the composition to make it look like a real postage stamp.

5 Elena Ercilla museum

In this project, Elena used the GIMP application to transform a photo of our school into a realistic museum painting display. To do this, she used different tools, such as the perspective tool, to make the images fit naturally on the walls. Thanks to this project, she learned more about how to use GIMP and discovered new editing techniques.

6 Eva Mosaic of portraits

In this project, Eva created a photo frame in GIMP using pictures of the classmates. She added different effects to each photo to give them a more creative and original look. Finally, she arranged all the images inside the frame to create a nice final composition.

7 Nicolas                                                      Three flags

He created three flags using Inkscape. For the Swedish flag, he used a blue background and added a yellow cross slightly off-center. For the European Union flag, he made a blue background and arranged 12 yellow stars in a circle. For the flag of England, he used a white background and added a centered red cross made from two rectangles.
